Creative Commons
This is an intriguing site! I first saw a reference to it in the editorial of the February 2005 edition of Scientific American. Basically the Principals of Creative Commons have assembled a framework of licences for the handling and assignment of rights to created material (such as that contained in the Sigma Management Science Website). This gives rise to a spectrum of rights—ranging from © (all rights reserved) through (CC) (some rights reserved to) (PD) (no rights reserved).
Creative Commons offers, free of charge, a range of licences across this spectrum.
